DISRUPT Alumni Portland is a 3 day day hair cutting & styling intensive redefining the future of natural hair and tight curl artistry by equipping stylists with the rigorous technical education and specialized business support they need to achieve mastery and profitability in the salon industry.
In Technically Intuitive or Tight Curl Immersion you deconstructed everything you learned about haircutting. Instead of learning step by step “haircuts”, we learned the how, when, and why behind hair cutting for all hair.
In DISRUPT, we go deeper into The Cut it Kinky Decision Matrix, Congruence Cutting, and The Curl Rehab Process to master cutting and styling tight curls. Practice makes progress towards skill mastery as we dive into the live model sessions hands and minds first.
This session is to guide your artistry to its next level to continue to astound the clients that sit in your chair. Our goal is to teach cutting in a way that it transcends a brand name or curl pattern so that it becomes a personal expression of artistry. We provide the framework within which to explore and investigate your own creativity, aesthetic, and reasons for creating.
