We’re In for the Long Game

What are your expectations when you go to continuing education courses?

Learning a new skill?

Perfecting a current skill?

Meeting a like minded community?

What if we told you taking 50-11 technical classes can be a very indirect and long suffering way to increase and improve your business.

There’s short game and then there’s the long game...

Short game is taking an advanced education course to improve/add skills to your toolbox. This allows you to gain insight on a specific topic, and incorporate new technical concepts that align with your current clients needs.

Long game however, is the complete strategy of implementation. In the long game we’re not only looking to improve our skill set, we are also wanting to shift our operations, marketing, sales, delivery, and revenue centered around the new or improved service/services. We do this while designing our business around our ATM, our attention, time, and money.

When we started Cut It Kinky back in October of 2017 we would spend four hours of our three day intensive workshops dedicated to business. All the other time was spent hands deep in tight curls while still addressing multiple lingering business questions. We quickly realized that we needed to spend just as much time focusing on the business & culture of tight curls as we did teaching the artistic & technical skills.

We created the Elevate & Execute Framework to a address the knowledge gap many stylists experience while taking advanced education classes.. From Maximizing Your ATM, to Pricing For Profit, to Communicating Your Value we help you sustain, profit, and thrive while building curl centric businesses.

We weave this framework into all levels of our education. While it was created to be a two day VIP retreat that you will find in our upcoming Level 3 Certification, we incorporate a 30 minute session into every Level 1 Curl Product Process Workshop and a two hour live class/week of focus into our Level 2 The Tight Curl Experience.

We would love the opportunity to do some strategic planning with The Elevate & Execute Framework in class with you soon.
