Your Work Certifies You

Forget a certificate. It’s time to reprogram ourselves from the traditional salon and stylist mindset surrounding them. Is it truly possible to retain enough information from a 1-3 day class to return to the salon and excellently execute what you learned?

Two to three days of cramming every morsel of education served in a class is nearly impossible. There are also many missed moments of learning opportunity due to being focused on your own model or your small group of curlfriends that are attending class with you.

What Cut it Kinky provides is weeks/months/years of an intensive deep dive into the culture & the curls with mentors from around the world. You are able to review, rewind, flesh out notes, then apply to real guests in your home salon.

You then bring the questions, challenges, concerns, and aha moments to one or more multi day in person mentoring sessions. You are able to gain experience feedback from the 8-15 models you will both work on and observe during your in person workshops

Tight curly + natural hair is comprehensive. Mastery requires practice to make progress to become fluent & proficient. True certification comes when our clients trust and believe in our ability to serve them with the evidence of the work we have put in to master our craft.
